Werribee Accident Repair Centre is the latest workshop to join the I-Car Gold Class training elite and another in a major Victorian collision group to notch up the prestigious training accreditation.
The I-CAR Gold Class Collision status for Werribee follows a concerted effort by the Western General Bodyworks Group to meet the high standards of training across its shops with Geelong, Maribyrnong and Bundoora gaining the status in the last 12 months.
I-CAR has now announced four of the shops have sealed the status in September alone.
Western General Bodyworks Group has eleven locations across the Eastern states and takes pride in its comprehensive and guaranteed repair services, including specialisation in Tesla repairs.
Business Director Danny Buzadzic says while the training was great for skills it was also a valuable team building endeavour.
“For Werribee Accident Repair Centre, the most rewarding aspect of achieving Gold Class was seeing the tangible improvements in both our team dynamics and individual skills,” Buzadzic says.
“Working together towards this goal significantly strengthened our teamwork and collaboration, creating a more cohesive unit.”
Positive all round
“The feedback from our staff has been very positive. They appreciate the practical nature of the Gold Class training and how it directly applies to their day-to-day work. The online quizzes were flexible and convenient, allowing them to learn at their own pace, while the virtual classrooms and hands-on certification offered valuable, interactive experiences.”

Buzadzic says the training notably boosted their confidence and skills, particularly in modern repair techniques and new technology.
“This newfound expertise has not only improved the quality of repairs but also increased job satisfaction,” he says.
“The comprehensive training has fostered a sense of accomplishment and teamwork, making the staff feel more competent and motivated. Gold Class training has enhanced the teams’ technical abilities and job performance, benefiting both the business and our customers.”
For Buzadzic the training is part of an ongoing plan of personal and professional development for the business.
“We aim to continuously enhance our services and stay ahead in the collision repair industry. Incorporating Gold Class renewal training is a key part of this strategy”
