Coinciding with the 3M-Foose Australian leg of their global tour at the Gosford Classic Car Museum, Andrew King, 3M Automotive Aftermarket & Marine Division Business Manager Australia & New Zealand unveiled two unique renderings by Chip Foose to be auctioned on-line in support of the Feel the Magic Foundation, an Australian not for profit organisation that runs the country’s largest and leading grief education and support program.

The ‘Camp Magic’ program was launched in 2015 and the camp has been designed for children aged 7-17 years who have lost a parent, sibling or legal guardian. ‘Camp Magic’ follows a structured program of therapeutic sessions, in addition to fun physical activities and resilience building challenges.

Based upon the Values of Empathy, Empowerment, Growth and Connection, the Purpose is to create a world where children who are experiencing grief are supported to reach their full potential and the Mission is to create environments where children who are experiencing grief can be inspired and empowered to succeed despite their loss.

Founder and Director, James Thomas spoke about his own experience losing his mother to a brain tumour and the profound impact that had on him – it was this experience that lead him to create the Feel the Magic Foundation. “Grieving children require ongoing support in developing strategies to cope and move forward with their lives following a significant loss. Camp Magic a safe place for grieving kids to grow” he said. Thomas formally thanked 3M and Foose for their support and invited anyone interested in becoming involved in Feel the Magic to visit their website www.feelthemagic.org.au.

The charity really struck a chord with Foose who shared his own experience when he lost his sister when he was young and really applauded Thomas’ commitment. He was extremely pleased to play a part in this very important fund-raising activity.

The on-line auction will run from Friday 6th October 2017 at 5:00pm and will be open for 10 days. To bid on either of the two renderings and own these unique Foose originals, also go to www.feelthemagic.org.au.
