PPG has stepped up its offerings in new automotive technology with a range of advanced EV coatings.
The global coatings giant will utilise June’s The Battery Show Europe to showcase specialised coatings and the role they e in modern electric vehicle battery packs.
The PPGs stand at the Stuttgart Exhibition Centre will highlight a range of EV solutions including pre-treatment and e-coat for corrosion protection, alongside key electrification technologies for thermal management, dielectric isolation and battery fire protection.
On show will be the PPG CORATHERM® TCA-4000 and PPG CORABOND® SA 6000 platforms which offer customisable debonding solutions to aid with recycling.
Safety and amd protection will also be a focus with the PPG RAYCRON® Dielectric UV and PPG ENVIROCRON® Dielectric Powder technology platforms, PPG Envirocron PCM 50120 flame retardant powder coating and PPG CORAGUARD™ SE 5300 anti-blast fire protection.
PPG’s dielectric repair solution enables quick repairs in case of a small defect and complements the company’s other offerings in the electrification environment.
They will also display a mica-free BFP coating which combines heat protection and anti-blast features, along with an efficient application process.
