For the 17th consecutive year PPG has been recognised on one of Fortune magazine’s list for 2025.
PPG secured a spot on Fortune magazine’s ‘World’s Most Admired Companies’ list.
Considered the leading corporate reputation indicator, the list identifies the largest, best-regarded companies across 51 industries, as voted on by industry peers.
The 2025 list was derived by surveying a group of 630 companies in 30 countries across 51 industries. More than 3,380 executives, directors and securities analysts responded to the survey.
PPG Vice President and Chief Communications Officer, Bryan Iams, highlighted how the consistent recognition underscores the efforts of PPG employees around the world who deliver on our purpose to protect and beautify the world every day.
“Inclusion on this key ranking highlights our commitment to delivering quality paints, coatings and specialty products for our customers around the world,” Iam says.
To determine the industry rankings, companies were scored by industry peers on a 1-10 scale on nine reputation drivers including innovation, people management, use of corporate assets, social responsibility, quality of management, long-term investment, financial soundness, quality of products and services, and global competitiveness.
The final results saw PPG ranked number 2 in the chemicals industry, retaining its spot from 2024 and representing its highest industry ranking since 2017. PPG earned its highest marks in global competitiveness, quality of products/services, financial soundness, social responsibility, quality of management and use of corporate assets.
