PPG is giving its customers one extra reason to make the trip to Melbourne for the Collision Repair Expo with a special “Business Solutions Conference” scheduled for Friday, 7th April 2017. Open to all PPG customers across Australia and New Zealand, the event is being held at Crown Melbourne, which is conveniently located adjacent to the Expo venue. Hosted by PPG’s eight-member MVP Team, the theme for the day is “Building a better business”, says MVP Manager ANZ, Greg Tunks.
“This is a great opportunity for our collision centre owners to get together, network, share experiences and ideas and gather some valuable information from a range of interesting presentations. The agenda starts with a guest speaker from the insurance industry and another from a vehicle OEM and, later in the day, a collision centre owner will talk about his real-world experience of ‘managing change’ as his business made the move from a small to a large shop.
“We are also pleased to have presentations from three key PPG staff members (Darryl Browne – ANZ Industry Relations Manager, John Hristias – Business Support Manager Asia Pacific, plus myself) and I think our customers will find these both interesting and stimulating. For example, John Hristias will be talking about building a team, creating a teamwork environment and motivating staff and how this can lead to higher productivity.
“Overall, the aim of this Business Solutions Conference is to help customers get work in the door and process it as efficiently as possible. Afterwards, we’ve organised a special group dinner at a really nice local restaurant where everyone can relax and chat. We’ve already had lots of people register to attend and they are coming from every Australian state and New Zealand.”
