Following the recent appointment of Gordon McRonald as Plastfix ANZ Business Advisor, Plastfix has now appointed Greg Preston to its senior executive team as the Group’s Manager ANZ, effective 1 November 2021.
Preston is well known in the Australian Collision Repair Industry working his way through the many layers and career pathways within our sector. Starting out as an apprentice panel technician and then a collision shop manager, learning from a hands-on perspective the challenges faced by the small business sector.
Preston then moved to the “other side” to start a new journey building expanding his business acumen with one of Australia’s leading Insurers to further developing his career by joining some of the leading Industry Associations. This combination of hands-on experience and business knowledge placed him at the top of the list of candidates to lead our Group.
Mr Preston said: “I am honored to be appointed to this position and working with our new Executive Team, many of whom have been with Plastfix from its inception. Since joining the group, we have put together a strong team to guide Plastfix into the future with a dual focus on maintaining our commitment to our core stakeholders while exploring growth and innovation opportunities that will benefit our stakeholders,” said Preston.
“Plastfix has always driven sustainability as our business model, which is for our people, without which no business can prosper; for our industry, which needs to do its part to reduce plastic waste and cut emissions for the overall benefit to our community,” he concluded.
