Now the Norton BDX range has been extended to include zirconia flap discs. The unique zirconia grain has self-sharpening properties with controlled grain fracturing to continuously produce sharp, new abrasive points. This provides long life, even on difficult-to-grind materials including steel and stainless steel, as well as softer metals like aluminium. The zirconia grain, which was specially developed for use in flap discs, provides greater aggression and fast stock removal – ideal for smoothing welding joints, rust removal and resurfacing.
Together with improved cloth backing for better strength, flexibility and wear resistance, new BDX flap discs provide the ultimate grinding solution for all applications where price is the consideration.
The flap disc range is available from 100–125 mm in P40, P60, P80 and P120.
