Leading coatings giant, Axalta has confirmed its new leadership in the region to help steer the company forward.
Craig Tonkes has been appointed Managing Director for Axalta Australia and New Zealand.
Tonkes has more than 30 years of industry experience and has played a key role in the company’s success as their National Sales Manager.
Tonkes will transition into the role with the support of outgoing Managing Director, Steven Brett who will depart Axalta at the end of October.
Axalta Refinish Asia-Pacific Vice President Simon Lee, thanked Steven Brett for his extensive leadership and looked forward to the strengths Tonkes would bring to the role.
“Craig’s appointment reflects our commitment to continuity and customer-focused growth,” Lee says.
“His direction will be instrumental as we continue to strengthen our presence in the region.”
Peter Kingsley-Rowe, currently Manager for WA, SA & NT, will also step into the role of National Sales Manager.
“Peter brings a wealth of experience and a strong performance record to this national position.
