After seven years driving Plastfix and re-shaping plastic repairs in the automotive collision industry, Mario Dimovski has stepped down as CEO of the business he founded and built into the industry’s leading innovator.
Plastfix, the exclusive provider of plastic repair services to Capital S.M.A.R.T and AMA in Australia and New Zealand, is set to progressively grow as the industry comes out of COVID-19 restrictions with a focus clearly directed at sustainability of plastic waste. The growth journey will continue under the guidance of the current leadership team including former 3M Director Gordon McRonald, and Industry Advocate Greg Preston, supported by senior managers such as Paul Siacola, John Morrissey, and Kane Everleigh who have helped shape the business and maintain its high standard of service since its inception.
“It’s been a pleasure working with such amazing people to create an industry-leading brand and build a base of like-minded employees who are the key reason for the ongoing success of the Plastfix business. I would like to thank the extended Plastfix family for their loyalty and dedication and I look forward to watching the business grow and further innovate under the management team. A special thanks to our customers, S.M.A.R.T and AMA for their ongoing support and I look forward to watching the new and exciting developments they have planned,” said Dimovski. “I must also thank the local collision industry, which has been the inspiration behind my drive to advance sustainability and plastic repairs in the collision repair market.”
Dimovski will take some time off to spend with his family as they relocate to the USA and prepare for his new and exciting journey later in the year. “Meanwhile, as an IBIS Global Ambassador he will help to commercialise Wellm8, to help raise awareness on becoming more open to dealing with mental health and well-being. Thank you everyone who has been part of the Plastfix journey, it’s been a blast,” concluded Mr Dimovski.
