IBIS Global Summit cancelled

The summit will become live streamed TV event on 19 November.

As 2020 marks the 20th anniversary of International Bodyshop Industry Symposium (IBIS), the year was to culminate in a spectacular celebration at the IBIS Global Summit in Monaco in November. However, having now consulted with its industry partners and advisors, plus given current official coronavirus guidelines, it has been decided not to hold a physical event.

Facing this challenge also provides opportunity, however, and for IBIS this means the launch of IBIS TV Global Summit. If IBIS cannot bring their global audience to the Summit, they’ll bring it to them via a 4-hour TV program to be streamed live over the Internet on Thursday, 19 November.

The business magazine program will be fronted by a well-known television journalist and will feature much of the thought leadership content we had planned for the Monaco event. Just delivered through an engaging set of studio-based features, outside broadcasts and documentary style packages. Not forgetting a number of special items they have in store to recognise and continue their 20th anniversary.

“We’re very grateful for the indispensable help and support of our sponsoring partners and leadership of the Global Summit steering group in making this exciting, giant step forward. As the event takes shape over the coming weeks and months, further announcements will appear on our social media feeds and on our website”
