I-CAR Australia Gold Class Coordinator Gary Wood today announced that Abbotsford Body Repairs in Abbotsford, Victoria and Bissell’s Paint & Panel in Noosaville, QLD have been awarded the prestigious I-CAR Gold Class Collision status.
Abbotsford Body Repairs
“With Abbotsford Body Repairs being a long term and valued supporter of I-CAR, we were delighted to see them achieve the Gold Class accreditation. They join the growing number of businesses that have recognised the benefits of regular training, not only for their staff, but also their customers and the entire business. The Gold Class accreditation places them in a very strong position to overcome the challenges presented by the ever-evolving body repair industry in 2021. Great work to everyone involved,” said Wood.

Bissell’s Paint & Panel
“We are delighted to announce that the team at Bissell’s Paint & Panel has achieved I-CAR Gold Class Recognition. We strive to provide Gold Class service and quality repairs for all our clients, and this new accreditation makes it official,” explained Iain Kippen.
Being committed to a staff training program ensures their staff are trained to the highest level within the collision repair sector. Their journey to achieve Gold Class has been a long one, but well worth it! “It has been great to have an online training platform to continue training staff and advancing their skills onsite. We also took advantage of the training alliance we have with PPG to provide product specific and environmental training to the refinish department.”
Given everything 2020 has thrown at them, they have achieved both state and national recognition, which they genuinely believe would not have been possible without state-of-the-art equipment and quality I-CAR training, enabling them to also retain their Subaru Preferred Repairer status.
