Fix Auto UK Adds New Express Collision Repair Centre to Network

Pauline Ranson (c), The Mayor of Charnwood, officiates at the opening of Fix & Go Loughborough with Bob Kirstiuk (l), owner of Fix Auto UK, and Paul Smith (r), owner of Fix Auto Loughborough.

Fix Auto UK announced that after 18 months in the planning and nine in the making, its latest Fix & Go express repair facility is now fully operational and open for business.

Developed by Fix Auto Loughborough owner Paul Smith following a £500,000 ($653,000) investment, Fix & Go Loughborough will operate alongside his traditional and well-established repair centre.

Housing a four-bay moveable spray booth and five production staff along with Fix Auto Loughborough’s administration team, the 11,000 sq. ft. centre is already processing 35 vehicles a week, with the aim to surpass 50.

“While there will always be a place for a traditional body shop capable of completing severe repairs, I see the Fix & Go express concept, where we aim to repair each vehicle within three days, as the future of our industry,” said Smith. “I have been committed to adopting the new branding with the Fix & Go Centre, where all of our repairs are managed centrally and, depending on the severity of damage, they are then triaged to the relevant facility. Many of our customers have already commented on how impressed they are with the new look.”

Fix Auto UK owner Bob Kirstiuk said, “What Paul and his team have achieved with this latest Fix & Go body shop raises the bar to another level. He was one of our founding franchisees here in the UK and has long been an industry leader and innovator by constantly adopting new ideas, technology and processes to ensure the best in customer service for all our clients.  This latest centre is just typical of his achievements and is a tremendous testament to Paul. I also congratulate him on being the first to fully adopt the new brand.”
