MGB ROADSTER 2

Regretfully offered for sale is my 1972 MGB project, now at an advanced semifinished stage with the major restoration work already completed. The car was long owned by a gentleman in Canada and Italy who began a Café Racer conversion after retiring in Australia. Ill health prevented him finishing it, and I have since carried the project forward.

Extensive rust repairs have been professionally completed, including replacement of the inner, outer and centre sills, followed by a full baremetal respray. The front suspension and most steering components are brand new, and the exportspec split braking system including all brake lines is newly installed. Rostyle chrome/black wheels with new tyres, brand new gauges including GPS speedo, and powdercoated seat frames are included.

A fully reconditioned engine with hardened valve seats comes with the car, along with the original dismantled engine and the original fourspeed allsynchro gearbox. Numerous additional new and reconditioned parts are supplied. Once the engine and gearbox are fitted, the car will be drivable with no further immediate expenditure.
