1994 HSV GTS VR

For sale from our Sydney Showroom is a super rare and highly collectable HSV VR GTS. Build No. 181 of only 277 built. This is an HSV FACTORY stroked 5.7L Aussie V8 with the 4-speed GM Turbo-Hydramatic 700-R4 and Australian developed Hydratrak rear end. 

This was the first time since the early 70's that an Aussie car manufacturer had built a 300HP screamer.  HSV's stroker 5.7 Litre V8 pumped out 215 kW and 475 Nm of torque pushing the big Commodore along at a good clip - enough to top 14.8 seconds for the 400m, 0-100 km/h in just 6.6 seconds and a 243 Km/h top speed.

Build No. 181 has covered a genuine 221,986 km from new with logbooks. These GTS models were hand built with blue printed and balanced engines from HSV. They were match ported with head work carried out and more. Wheels Magazine tested the car against the legends of the 70's and concluded it to be the fastest production car ever built in Australia's history. 

Just 277 cars were built with the 5.7 litre GTS option with three colours available - Diablo Red, Alaskan White and Sherbrooke Green. The GTS is totally unmodified and presents in very good condition for the mileage covered. 

This is a great investment that offers true bullet performance and a car to be very proud of given it's place in HSV and Walkinshaw's history. This is a great value Aussie muscle car. Very collectable now and in the years to come will only appreciate more.
