1987 HSV COMMODORE VL

For sale is an excellent big dollar tribute HSV Group A Walkinshaw Commodore running a VN 304ci motor and T-5 manual gearbox. In stunning Panorama Silver with full Walkinshaw body kit and interior and for sale from our Sydney Showroom. 

Starting life as a 1987 Holden Commodore Berlina, the car was upgraded to a Walkinshaw Tribute including the fitment of a full Walkinshaw spoiler kit, a complete 2 pack repaint in Panorama Silver, retrim of the interior to match the Tweed Grey Walkinshaw cloth trim and fitment of HSV 19" Walkinshaw Star alloy rims.

The car runs a VN sourced 304ci V8 with VN heads, mild cam, high rise manifold, Holley 4BBL carby, electronic ignition, extractors and a sports exhaust and the VL actually sounds pretty close to that wonderful breathless Walkinshaw V8 burble.  The gearbox is a T-5 five speed manual gearbox and the diff is a stock 5 litre VL Salisbury rear end. The VL is showing 100,784 Kilometres from new. 

The interior presents beautifully, with the seats, carpets and trim all retrimmed in the original Walkinshaw fabrics. Features include ice-cold air conditioning, aftermarket blue tooth stereo, power steering, a HSV MOMO steering wheel and SV dash mounted build plate.

In the boot is a carpet, relocated battery and spare tyre. The undercarriage is very tidy with Bilstein shock absorbers.
The VL is riding on 19" Walkinshaw replica Star alloy wheel with 235/35ZR19s on the front and 255/35ZR19 on the rear.

The Walky is supplied with the front lower lip spoiler not currently fitted.  

This is a jump in and drive anywhere car. It will turn heads where-ever it goes and is in excellent condition throughout. 

Currently with full NSW registration WLK-188 until 11th December 2026.
