Description
1971 Holden HG Kingswood - Original Survivor - Long Term Owner
Up for sale is my 1971 Holden HG Kingswood sedan, a genuine Aussie classic and increasingly hard to find in this original condition.
I have owned this car for 37 years, and it has always been well looked after. It was running and driving when parked and has been stored inside my shed for the last 10 - 15 years.
This is an honest survivor, not a restored or modified car.
Details
186 red motor with twin carb setup
Aussie 4-speed manual conversion
Approx 100,000 Miles
Original log books included
Original factory radio still fitted
Red exterior with white roof
Red interior
Exterior Condition
Body is very straight for its age
Original paint (faded but presents well for a survivor)
Body a little rust at the base of the rear window and the drivers front quarter panel
Chrome and trims all present
Interior Condition
Interior original and complete
Door cards and roof lining are in very good condition
Dash has a small crack (typical for age)
Seats have cracks and would need retrimming
Stored indoors for many years
Has not been started recently
Summary
This is a rare opportunity to buy a long-term owned, original HG Kingswood that hasn't been messed with.
