A rare opportunity to own a genuine 1969 Ford Mustang Mach 1 R-code 428 Cobra Jet - Ram Air.

Factory ordered with the coveted Super Cobra Jet Engine Drag Pack option and four-speed close ratio Toploader manual transmission.

Featuring a 428ci (7.0-litre) V8, this Mustangs factory Super Cobra Jet specification included an external engine oil cooler and heavy-duty engine internals.

Its W-code axle specification provided a 4.30:1 Traction-Lok 9-inch differential, complemented by a heavy-duty 'Daytona' pinion support and staggered rear shock absorbers to help control axle tramp under hard acceleration.

Presented in its factory-specified Acapulco Blue with blackout hood treatment / red side stripes and complemented by a striking black Mach 1 interior with red accents.

This example is said to have received a full rotisserie restoration just over 17 years ago, before being imported into Australia by the current owner.
