1976 FORD FAIRMONT XB

For sale is a V8 Fairmont ordered in Copper Bronze with original Parchment trim. Featuring the all matching numbers 302 Cleveland V8 and T-Bar C4 automatic transmission. The Fairmont has covered a genuine 177,303 Kilometres from new with log books, owners manuals, factory build sheet and period XB workshop manual and Melways directory. For sale from Healsville, Victoria. 

This XB has been carefully looked after and has always garaged. The paint received a doors closed refresh about a year ago. The interior is exceptional with a retrim to the front seats only and replacement of the original carpet. Everything else is day one from the door trims, hood lining, sunvisors, steering wheel, dash, working AM  radio with single dash speaker and instrument gauges. The XB is factory fitted with an AM Superfringe radio, remote drivers side mirror, protection pack, power steering, ice cold integrated air-conditioning and Beige Vinyl roof.

The matching numbers 302 V8 has been fully maintained and has never been removed from the car. The XB is fitted with the original single barrel carby. The owner has recently replaced the water pump and radiator hoses. Suspension and braking are all factory with maintenance carried out as required. The XB is fitted as per factory with front disc brakes and rear drums with a factory diff. 

This special XB Fairmont was originally sold by Franz Bird P/L, Moorabbin, Victoria to a M.H. Bismire & Associates, an insurance broker located at 33 Queens Rd, Melbourne. The XB still retains the original factory special instructions build sheet (green print) found under the passenger side carpet.

The XB is riding on the factory 14" steel wheels with excellent factory hubcaps and brand new Nankang 195/75R14 tyres all round. In the boot is a new boot carpet (original carpet also supplied), spare tyre and the original tool bag.
