1962 Austin Healey Sprite, rare model between bugeye and 1962A.
Matching nos, car no 70 built in Australia of approx 300. Rarest model Sprite. Valued at 15.5k to 22k Listed in spriteclub.com register.
Strong original 948cc engine with refurbed su carbs, ribcage box has new bearings syncros lay shaft and seals. Re-engineered flywheel to take 1275 clutch. All replaced in last few 100 miles. Diff has new seals and bearings, new wheel bearings all round. Front brakes just renewed shoes, pipes and cylinders. Has brake booster added.
New tyres all round. All suspension rubbers replaced front and back, rear shocks replaced with aftermarket telescopic conversion.
New rear springs. Front shocks 1 new 1 rebuilt, shortened gear shift [orig with car]. Engine mounts replaced,.
Tonnau cover [needs slight repair]
Soft top and windows.
Personalised plates go with car.
Has had full reno colour change Wh to Red prior to 2006. Paint has a some blemishes. Lots of receipts. Mileage not orig.
