This fabulous looking 1959 Austin Healey 3000 Mk1 has it all. Greatly improved performance from the Carefully Modified Engine, a Toyota Supra 5 Speed Gearbox, Improved Braking with Power Boosted 4 Wheel Disc Brakes and Improved Handling and Roadholding with Koni Shock Absorbers all round and Uprated Sway Bars and Rear Radius Arms.

The engine modifications include increased capacity 3275cc (88.5mm Bore), Forged Flat Top Pistons, Billet Con-Rods, Tufftrided and Balanced Crankshaft, Custom Rallyspec Camshaft, Ported Alloy Cylinder Head with SS Valves and High Ratio Roller Rockers, 3 x 45mm Weber Carburettors on Short Works Replica Manifolds with Cable Throttle Kit, Ceramic Coated Extractor Exhaust, 8 Bolt Steel Flywheel, Bosch Electronic Ignition. A DMD Competition Sump keeps the engine oil where it should be, an Alloy radiator, Texas Kooler Type 5 Blade Fan and Electric Cooling Fan keep the engine cool, and a Bosch Alternator ensures adequate Charging Capacity. A Hi-Torque Starter gets things moving. This Well Developed Engine produces approximately 245hp at the Flywheel.

The Healey presents beautifully, finished in the classic 2 tone White over Blue with White HardTop and Blue Interior. The Cockpit is a comfortable place to be all year round with the benefit of Air Conditioning and Heating, but also very business like with a Large Smiths Chronometric Tachometer in direct sight along with Oil Pressure, Water Temperature and Voltage Warning Lights to keep everything safe. The Moto-Lita Derrington Style Wood Rim Steering Wheel adds to that classic period look.

This 3000 Mk1 has a Brutish presence sitting on its Alloy Splined Hub Wheels, the Factory Hard-Top with Rally Vent, Alloy Flip-Top Fuel Filler Cap and Lucas Driving Lights cap off that period Works Rally Car look.
