Chris Miller wins big with the Axalta “built for Performance Promotion”

The BMW Head Office in Mulgrave, Victoria was the fitting venue for the official presentation of the amazing BMW S 1100 RR motorbike valued at $28,000 which Axalta Coating Systems made available for their ‘built for Performance Promotion’ which ran for more than three months.

The motorbike was presented to the winner, Chris Miller from Winfield Automotive Services of Port Melbourne by Andreas Lundgren, General Manager of BMW Motorrad the motorbike arm of BMW. Ben Pettitt, Motorrad Technical Support who performed the pre delivery inspection on the bike was also at the presentation to meet the winner.

Andreas provided some stats on the bike namely that it has a 999cc capacity, weighs 208kg fully fuelled and that it will do “zero to 200 kilometres per hour in just 7.4 seconds!”

Winfield Automotive Services is a longstanding customer of Axalta Coatings and has been using Standox for more than 20 years. Chris Miller’s business partner Chris Kane accompanied him to the presentation and even though Chris Miller’s name was on the winning ticket they will share the motorbike fifty-fifty!

Chris Miller thanked Steven Brett, Paul Wake and Axalta Coating Systems for making such a wonderful prize available and mentioned that as he and his business partner Chris Kane are both motorbike enthusiasts and owners they will certainly put it to good use!

Editor: I attended the presentation and I have to say that it really is a magnificent motorbike and both Chris Miller and Chris Kane will no doubt enjoy it for many years to come. The promotion also raised a lot of money for charity-congratulations to Steven Brett, Paul Wake and the team at Axalta Coating Systems for this great initiative.
