Calling all body shops

Desperate times call for desperate measures and it whilst we are all hurting, by now it should be self-evident, we are all in this together.

Our frontline medical professionals are once again being asked to “stand and deliver” in our nation’s time of need, but due to the speed of the onset of the pandemic, there is just not enough personal protective equipment to meet the current needs.

So, what can we in the collision repair industry do to help alleviate the strain on the medical professionals? Well, the following request was sent to a local repairer from a Cairns doctor charged with leading the fight against COVID-19 in the local community.

NCR Letter to Dave re PPE 260320

To the repairer’s credit, they have circulated the letter to the industry media with a view to raising the awareness around the country and make this call to action.

If you have any P2 masks, nitrile gloves or even full suits that you can spare, reach out to your local medical centres and hospitals and help give our frontline doctors and nurses the PPE that they so desperately need. Make no mistake, your donation could very well save a life.
