I-CAR Australia is pleased to announce today that Bill Dingle Smash Repairs located in Ayr, North Queensland has been awarded the prestigious I-CAR Gold Class Collision status.
“We were looking for a more structured and industry specific training to keep up to date with the constant changes happening in our industry. Once the Road to Gold program was offered to us by the Suncorp Group, it was a no brainer to jump on board with the training,” said Josh Leonardi, Workshop and Parts Manager.
“The several training delivery options offered by I-CAR made finding time for training easier. All of our training was done online in a Virtual Classroom afterhours. From apprentices through to the tradespeople, we have all been learning something new on each course and have more confidence when working in the workshop.”
Leonardi wants to keep the Gold Glass status long term by introducing I-CAR courses into their future processes. He believes that when I-CAR training is done correctly, it can really boost staff’s morale and attitude, and the ability to carry out future work and being kept up to date, can only provide a good outcome for the business and the customers.
