The AMA Group has announced it has recently acquired its 9th major heavy motor repair facility, Newcastle’s National Truck Repairs and National Central. Darren Wales, CEO AMA’s Heavy Motor Division said he is delighted with the newly acquired business, stating it is a perfect strategic fit for the ever-expanding division. “National Truck Repairs is such a well-run and respected industry leader in the heavy vehicle repair sector, and we are delighted to have them on board to complement our burgeoning team” said. Wales. “Having a facility of this calibre in the Newcastle region complements our national repair network, which is the only heavy vehicle repair organisation to have such a national presence.”
Rodney Landers of National Truck Repairs added: “We looked long and hard before joining Darren and the AMA Heavy Motor team. Having the backing of an organisation such as AMA, with the systems and process that they have in place is second to none. Their commitment to the industry for the long term gave us peace of mind to provide our customer base an exceptional level of service and satisfaction for many years to come.”
Wales added that despite the recent change of the Group’s CEO, it’s business as usual. “My executive team and I are laser focused on providing our clients, both transport operators and Insurers alike, with exceptional service and competitive pricing structures. We are 100% committed to this task, and although companies will always undergo change, our staff, management and technicians are the backbone of our company. This is what sets us apart from our competition.”
