With families in mind, Honda Australia said its much anticipated CR-V has been designed to deliver greater space and passenger comfort.
Since its introduction into the Australian market in 1997, the Honda CR-V has been synonymous with quality and reliability.
The seven variants available from launch will be VTi X, VTi X7, VTi L, VTi L7, VTi L AWD, VTi LX AWD and e:HEV RS.
The e:HEV RS boasts an exclusive sporty design from front to back, including distinctively styled body-coloured front and rear bumpers, a black front grille with the RS emblem and black leather-appointed seat trim with red stitching. C
Customers will also have a choice of five and seven seating, 2WD and AWD across the lineup, and for the first time in CR-V, a e:HEV hybrid variant.
Honda Australia director Ms. Carolyn McMahon said “For the first time in Australia, we will be launching the all- new CR-V with an e:HEV Hybrid powertrain. This addition to Honda Australia’s line up will strengthen our hybrid offering and provide customers even more choice when considering their next Honda purchase.
“Honda’s e:HEV hybrid powertrain has become increasingly popular across the Accord, Civic, Honda ZR-V and HR-V ranges, delivering a dynamic combination of performance and efficiency.”
According to Honda, the CR-V offers improved agile and sophisticated driving performance across the range with a 1.5 litre direct injection VTEC turbocharged engine for the petrol variants, and a two-motor hybrid system for the e:HEV RS. Fuel economy, driving performance and environmental output have been significantly enhanced to amplify Honda’s vision to ‘lead the advancement of mobility’.
