I-CAR Australia and 3M Australia are joining forces to deliver a combined training venture on rivet and adhesive bonding.

Scheduled for July 6th, 2017 at 3M’s state-of-the-art training facility in Blacktown NSW, the program will cover I-CAR’s hands-on RVT01 Rivet Bonding program alongside 3M’s Adhesive Bonding course.

3M Training Manager, Nick Pikis, noted the importance of partnering with I-CAR to up-skill repairers and meet industry training demands. “I-CAR plays a crucial role in delivering quality hands-on training programs in critical areas within the panel shop. 3M have been a long and loyal supporter of I-CAR in Australia and we are committed to ensuring the delivery of premium training with quality products that improve efficiencies and make jobs easier on a daily basis.”

The program will include a 4-hour hands-on skill development session focusing on rivet bonding procedures followed by a further four hours learning how to identify types and characteristics of adhesives and how to work with these properly in panel repair and replacement.
