MTA Queensland welcomes world class auto innovation to the Sir Jack Brabham Automotive Centre of Excellence

In May 2017, the Motor Trades Association of Queensland (MTA Queensland) welcomed 3D Space Labs (3DSL) to their state-of-the-art premises located at Eight Mile Plains.

3DSL provides innovative solutions for industry professionals to improve their design workflows through 3D scanning and printing. As MTA Queensland continues to focus more attention on providing innovative solutions to automotive businesses, the inclusion of 3DSL to the building is the first step taken in an effort to connect and collaborate with automotive innovators.

MTA Queensland is the peak body representing the specific interests of businesses in the retail, repair and service sector of Queensland’s automotive industry. Representing and promoting issues of relevance to the motor trades, MTA Queensland has recently hosted Carmageddon, a symposium designed to bring together industry, government and academia to discuss and brainstorm the implications of the incoming technology disruptors in the automotive industry.

Dr Brett Dale, Group CEO of MTA Queensland said, “The inclusion of 3DSL onsite at MTA Queensland represents and introduces world class auto-innovation to our industry.”

“MTA Queensland is incredibly excited to offer innovative solutions to automotive businesses and the addition of 3DSL to our organization’s venue marks a significant shift in our forward-thinking approach. We look forward to collaborating with 3DSL for the next chapter in Queensland’s automotive industry.”

Mr Tony Ho, Business Development Manager of 3DSL said, “MTA Queensland is breaking new ground in their approach to the automotive industry. With 3DSL providing forefront technological solutions to businesses, and MTA Queensland’s large base of automotive businesses, the venture makes a lot of sense.”
